This was posted a while ago (on r/DIY I think) and there were many people saying that having that much water pooled up so close to the house/foundation could cause serious damage. Looks cool though.
As someone who works for an agency that enforces Section 404 of the Clean Water Act, I would like to thank you on behalf of the government for adding part of your lawn to our jurisdiction
