As someone who's worked in stores that sell timers, I can assure you this is entirely original. Yep, no one has ever done this, that's for sure.

I imagine this person hiding around the aisle just giggling for the entire hour waiting to see the slight reaction from someone. Instead of just setting them for say, 5 minutes
