The Klansmen's expression is priceless, he's like "But youa white like me.".

This reminds me of a great story my father told me. My dad was in a fraternity (one if only two on his campus) in a small college in Clinch Valley, Virginia. This was in the very early 80's and life was a little different. My dad (stereotypical looking 80's white frat star) and his fraternity brothers decided to go to town to buy some beer. One of my father's travel companions was a large black dude named Ricky. My dad describes Ricky as the kind of large and intimidating type that you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley, but in reality he was the definition of a gentle giant. So as my father and friends get close to the one intersection in town they notice there are a bunch of Klan members at all of the corners holding their hoods out for donations, similar to what Shriners or firemen do to raise money for a cause. For Ricky's comfort and sake they suggest turning around and just heading back. Ricky tells my father to just pull up and pretend to want to make a donation, but also to haul ass when he gets the signal to. My dad pulls up. Rolls down the window and is all smiles to the Klansman. The klansman walks up and starts to thank my father for his donation to their "great cause". At this point Ricky pops up from the back seat and snatches the hood from the hands of the shocked klansman. My dad realizing this is the signal does as agreed and hauls ass away from the area. I never found out what they did with the money already collected in the hood but my guess would be to buy their beer. Ricky from that day was known as Spook and there was a picture of Spook and his trophy framed on the fraternity house wall until the chapter didn't exist anymore. At which time it is presumed that Spook took the picture with him.

Edit: a user posted to tell me that Spook is in fact a racial slur for African Americans here is my response: "I do in fact know that and mentioned that very point to my father. I was told that for Ricky he wore it as a badge of honor. It was a nickname said with deference and never without respect or in a demeaning way. My father and his fraternity brothers were all proud of their brother for stepping up in a situation that they were just going to avoid. You could say he took it back." I hope that clears any question thanks for all the karma (most ever for anything I've ever done on Reddit)
