I visited Florida from Europe with my parents when I was around 14. The trip was planned so that on one of the first few days we would see the space shuttle take off.

Three weeks of delays happened, and then on the flight home the pilot told everyone to look out the left hand side windows and there it was taking off. Still one of the most incredible things I've ever seen.

So everyone viewing the eclipse will have a plane blocking the view?
