As long as the graindust isnt swooped through the air it wont explode. The reason it does sometimes is the right cocktail of flammability, oxygen and temperture, like any fire basically.
I'd be more scared of drowning in the grain. In this case it seems clear he's on a solid surface, but all the horror stories I've heard about people trapped in grain elevators would make me nervous about this.
That's a lot of trust in that ventilation system. But I doubt you would be in there if you didn't feel safe enough. A job is a job, but you can only apply for one life at a time.
