OK so this is a cultured marble type sink. What happens is during the process before it's molded they mix a pigment in with the white of the sink creating a marble like effect. This looks like a case to where they didn't put the pigment in with the mix directly but just smeared it over the mold and poured the material on top of it. At the very least it wasn't mixed properly.
