This happened to my father-in-law in the middle of a packed family restaurant, delivering food. He had no choice but to stand there with his pants around his ankles and both hands filled with plates until his son came over to pull up his pants.
Luckily this restaurant was basically one of those that existed with the same basic customers for 40 years so there was ample opportunity for people to tease him about it.
