President Trump’s approval rating this week has dipped below the lowest numbers of former President Barack Obama Barack ObamaObama team pushing Deval Patrick presidential run North Korea targeted emails of Clinton advisers: report Putin tests Trump with counterpunch on sanctions MORE, according to a Republican-leaning polling firm’s regular tracking.

The Rasmussen Reports tracking poll for Wednesday says 38 percent of likely voters approve of the job Trump is doing as president, while 62 percent disapprove.

A quarter of those polled said they strongly approve of how Trump is performing in the White House, while 50 percent strongly disapprove.

The president, in previous months, has touted the Rasmussen poll on Twitter, calling it “one of the most accurate in the 2016 Election” while bragging about his approval rating at the time.

The president’s approval ratings in the conservative-leaning Rasmussen poll generally have been higher than in other polls.

Rasmussen Reports completes its daily tracking poll by surveying 500 likely voters each night over the phone. It reports the results on a rolling basis every three days.

The sample of 1,500 individuals has a margin of error of 2.5 percentage points.

I'm pretty sure he will always have his loyal followers. It's like that one guy that dates a girl that's constantly cheating on him. All his buddies tell him what's going on even present evidence but it doesn't matter because she says it's not true, and that's all he needs.

The only way Trump's approval rating could surprise me anymore is if it somehow finds a way to fall below zero. Anything short of that is expected, at this point

Following the 538 tracker is my personal form of stress relief.

It's like watching the country verrrrrrry slowly wake the fuck up from this self-imposed bizzaro personality cult of sheer idiocy.

EDIT: For any visiting ScienTrumpologists who want to whine about Nate Silver and 538: a.) you're stupid, b.) Silver was the most accurate polls-based prognosticator, giving Trump a 29% chance, more than anyone else c.) things that happen 29% of the time do happen... you know, 29% of the time, d.) why are you so stupid, e.) "Trump Is Just A Normal Polling Error Behind Clinton", f.) "Why FiveThirtyEight Gave Trump A Better Chance Than Almost Anyone Else", g.) are you ever going to stop being so stupid? h.) Silver doesn't conduct the polls, you idiots, i.) national polls were off by 1-1.5% max, so even if the same thing applies to approval ratings, Trump is still at about 38.5% today, and j.) did you all get hit on the head with 60-lb bags of drugs thrown over the invisible solar-panel-covered wall?
