I've been there. Amazing diving and snorkeling, amazing food, I would kill for the tomatoes alone. Watch the sun set with the smoke rising from the Stromboli volcano.
Downsides: Pebble beaches get so hot you burn your feet.
Definitely going back there when my kids are old enough to dive.
