Here in Indiana it's a not too uncommon thing to use cattle antibiotics from the local feed store for your kids. You can get shell casings for almost nothing on amazon. Of course that also means these people are self diagnosing as well as self medicating. It's a pile of sketchy and dangerous, but we gotta make every dollar count.
In Brazil this is impossible, despite we have free but poor health Care with meds included, the veterinary antibiotics are far expensive than humans one. We buy human meds for my dog.
