This is a Bengal, the result of crossing a domestic cat with an Asian Leopard Cat. Domestic/wild hybrid cat breeds are a fad right now, but many sanctuary and rescue groups discourage purchasing them because the same genes which give them that exotic coat also tend to pass on "wild" instincts like aggression, not using a litterbox, spraying, etc. which make them unmanageable for most casual pet owners. A lot of Bengals are being surrendered to sanctuaries, and the process of breeding them creates 2-3 generations of mostly wild cats that are unable to live in a home. There are plenty of Bengal success stories, but the breed is not for everyone.
