My grandmother is one of those people that claims to have been abducted by an alien. Apparently, it happened while she was soaking in her kiddie pool in our backyard one morning. There, she spotted a humanoid creature concealed in our hydrangeas. Its alien appearance was startling to the point of making my grandmother piddle a bit. She soon found her courage, however, and began attacking the thing with verbal epitaphs, cigarette butts, and at least two pre-owned tampons. After nearly an hour of suffering my grandmother's barrage, the being finally approached. They then shared a pitcher of sangria, which my grandmother had prepared in advance, as was custom back then, and still is. The "alien" must have liked it because my grandmother said it proceeded to "probe" her with great vigor. She likened the experience to "getting a Pabst smear from a chimpanzee with Parkinson's." Furthermore, the alien in question "smelled like chili powder and balls." Turns out this alien was simply Felipe, our gardener. However, he is in the country without documentation, so her referring to him as an alien was technically correct. I guess it's true what they say about a blind squirrel finding his nuts twice a day.
