I think I know why we see all these post where guys make jokes using the girls name.
It's cause sometimes thats all you got. I've seen so many low effort profiles from some girls. Like 2 or 3 pics and nothing at all in the bio. And the pics usually don't involve any activity or place that can start a conversation.
Put a few minute or two into your profile and you can have much better conversations from the start.
