Holy crap, that is my car! I don't know how to prove it - the rear right fender tip was bent from utterly demolishing another cars fender. Red seats inside. I'll try and get a hang of the people we gave it to to confirm.
If you found it on island Hvar that sounds about right. It's an old 1200J (Bosnian made), with parts of it from Mexico and some even coming from a washing machine. It provided a lot of fun drives for a bunch of my friends.
So sad to see it run down. We've given it away to some friends there because Hvar had a lot of Beetles and we presumed it would be cheaper to maintain.
