For context, this is a CSGO pro player. He used to play for what was once a top team, Na'Vi, which he made the grand finals of a major tournament with twice (losing both times) before he was kicked. He then joined another team, Gambit, which wasn't considered to be even remotely close to the same level as his former team. He tweeted out the top tweet around that time.
Cue the present day- he and his new team managed to win the latest CSGO major tournament. Meanwhile, his old team was eliminated before the playoff stage of said tournament, and has yet to win a major.
