As I searched, the only "picking and choosing" done was to attempt not selecting the same article twice, and I did not exclude any results from a search because it didn't fit. Google what I did yourself if you must.
Here's where it does go left field and likely to be different. My first instinct isn't that it's because she's white, but because his name is Mohammed.
Not saying you couldn't find it, but basic searches, for me anyway, didn't have the same headline stories; even after 20 headlines. There was a lot of name dropping in the headline if you search his name. Seems like more articles identified her as an Australian woman than white woman.
Overall, the the tragedy is real. Another front to point crap journalism on is not that they are almost all sympathetic and already assume her innocence, but how quickly they've exiled the cop as anthing but a hero. They highlight his previous misdoings at the department, how he might not should have been hired, etc. they're more or less painting him as anything but a cop. They don't want him to be a cop, it tarnishes what they want cops to be. It's almost like seeing their uncle get a pedophile charge, "well, I didn't really know him well, he was my setup dads brother who I only saw...." dude, he bought you your first car.

Man, I really hate the media. I have never in my entire decades of living read Christian/Jewish/Buddhist cop kills unarmed person.
People have to see how painfully disgusting this is.
I don't want to be a part of this world anymore.
