This is from a little after sunrise about a week ago. I stayed in a place about a mile to the right, and hiked up here early that morning. Really excited that the conditions were clear and the mountains were visible.
Camera Info: Canon 5D, 17-40mm. ISO 100, f/7.1, 1/100 sec. I used to try to avoid shooting directly into the sun, but now I look for these opportunities because it creates some nice, warm images.
The conditions up there changed every 10-15 minutes. For example, here is another picture with the mountains covered in clouds that I took about 20 minutes later.
