While I certainly agree that most of the planet's inhabitants certainly deserve death, I think that we should have considered preserving the natural wildlife and evacuating innocent civilians. I'm certain that there were POWs and dutiful spies all over the planet. Not that I'm mourning the death of terrorists, of course, just that Grand Moff Tarkin should have considered other options.
