Raising the minimum wage is a blanket solution to a symptom of capitalism. What they should really do is pass a 1:12 law where the highest earner can't make more than 12x what the lowest earner makes.

The minimum wage here is $7.25. It would take me 3 years of tax exempt pay to afford my mom's car.
