At the end of last year, Nine Inch Nails released a new EP, Not the Actual Events. In June, Trent Reznor revealed that that release was the beginning of a trilogy of EPs, with another due soon. Following a teaser tweet, Nine Inch Nails have now revealed the details of ADD VIOLENCE, the follow-up to Not the Actual Events. It’s due out digitally on July 21, and will also be available on vinyl and CD (out September 1). There’s also a “physical component.” Below, check out the ADD VIOLENCE tracklist, as well as a Brook Linder-directed visual for the first single “LESS THAN;” scroll down for Nine Inch Nails’ upcoming tour dates.

2016’s Not the Actual Events EP also came with a “physical component,” which was a mysterious black powder whose packaging warned, “This will make a mess.” The ADD VIOLENCE physical component has not yet been detailed.

Can't wait for the album to pop up on Spotify. These EPs are great! It is almost like he is testing out sounds for an album. I wouldnt mind more EPs if that means a very diverse album in the end!

The video has already been submitted once and was auto-removed due to NIN being in the Hall of Fame, so this will have to do. Here's the link to LESS THAN's video.

The EP in various formats can be pre-ordered at the NIN store.
