53800lbs plastic injection mold that fell when the crane cables gave out apparently, no word yet if failed due to overloading crane or any sort of defect. No injuries thankfully, cept for the forklift

This is why I'm such an asshole at work when people are on the floor around my crane. Things happen, parts wear, fail and break. We had a similar incident 2 weeks ago, our trolley hoist brake failed and dropped a 9000lb grab 30 feet to the floor. Luckily nobody was around and the crane was parked and not in motion down the bay.
