I understand the point being made here. Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman come to mind. The media would post George looking like a upstanding citizen and Trayvon as a gang banger and vice versa. Stealing 90 cans of formula isn't feeding a baby. Given it's not the worst crime in the world but it's still stealing. News outlets, especially local news, don't have access to a lot of photographs. They post what the police send them or what they can find. Michael Brown is another.
