They are mad smart. One is training me to feed it currently. When ever I am hanging out in backyard it gets close enough to get my attention squawks a bit and I put the dogs away and fed him /her. It knows the drill quite well already as it has been making fairly regular stops and seems to have taught me the drill rather well. Sometimes it just hangs and observes.
