Look I love trash panda reddit threads as much as anyone, but I want to make everyone on reddit aware of a very real danger when it comes to owning one before someone gets hurt.
Raccoons have thumbs. THUMBS.
You know what that means right? They can pick up and hold things, and learn to use them as tools.
So while you're racking up all your karma with your favorite new pet, he's in the back finding out what valuables you got. And while you're thinking it's all fine and dandy, you're gonna wake up to a raccoon holding a paring knife to your throat, demanding the combo to your safe.
Don't let it happen to you.
