So his 8-year-old daughter saves up for a guitar and finds it. They drive up to buy it and this asshole then just tells her that there's a sales tax so she can't afford it? That's 6 dollars at worst man, suck it up for your kid instead of trying to lure her into your bullshit ideology maybe. What an absolute Asshole.

Edit: the sales tax in the US is apparently only 10 percent max. That's 3,50!

Edit 2: While I greatly appreciate all the responses to this comment, my inbox is getting a bit clogged with everyone's local tax rate. I get it, they vary over the US.

To be fair, that sort of is how Republicans are born. Teach them about taxes, but not all the things taxes pay for. Or the whole idea behind taxation in the first place. Just let them assume the government is stealing their money for caviar and blow.

Man, she's going to be really upset when she learns about fees and service charges. Like how a $40 concert ticket/phone bill/cable bill is actually $75.
