Woman driving while praying with eyes closed crashes into house

A Florida woman who ran a stop sign and drove into a house was taken to hospital for evaluation after she told cops she had been praying with her eyes closed at the time of the crash.

The 28-year-old woman, whose name has not been released, careened through an intersection, over a yard and into a small brick house in the town of Mary Esther, Florida, the NWF Daily News reported.

The driver, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., was headed eastbound on Marcia Drive when the holy show occurred.

Nobody was injured in the accident, and the woman was hit with reckless driving and property damage.
