When I was a supervisor at a call centre and every day my staff lost little pieces of their souls, I would host our morning meetings outside on nice days.

It was such a big deal to them. People started showing up early on nice days with little treats for our "sun and sales" meetings. Morale was at an all time high.

Then autumn came and they all died again.

Edit to clarify: this was a direct sales team (smilin' and dialin') of about 10 people. The entire call centre was maybe 80 or 90. During the non summer months, I would bring coffee or donuts or take them for beer and wings. But lets face it--kind gestures only go so far when you are in a cubicle desk life. Luckily the pay was good.

"...but in this situation, who is the guilty party? The parent, the child, or the shooter? Please consider this in your groups and then we'll have an open discussion on The Harambe Problem."
