Dude, I just visited a friend in OKC and they have a totally wicked Museum of Osteology full of stuff like this! Did you know seals have fingernails? The ossicones on top of a giraffe's skull are lumpy like the Elephant Man, and most reptiles and birds have a weird, circular bone in their eye socket called a sclerotic ring. It looks like the most horrifying centipede imaginable. Every time I see a snake crawling now I'm going to imagine its ribs as centipede legs.
