There are actually several definitions for a chemical base. Not technically something that "neutralizes" an acid. Failsmart

I'm going to deliberately misread what you wrote and then blame you for my misreading.
Also you shouldn't write "I caught a bass today while fishing" because people might think you snagged the largest member of the violin family.
