8 hour workday (in a lot of places pretty much virtual now), labor rights (mostly destroyed nowadays), welfare for the poor (either barely there or in the process of being destroyed), proper wages (mostly gone), etc.
Actual left politics, politics of and for the people, achieved a lot of good things1 but as long as the system itself doesn't change these achievements will be under constant attack and ultimately destroyed.
edit: 1 btw, this was not some parliamentary struggle, people faught real fights and died (or rather were killed by state enforcers) for this.
I know this won't be seen but I'm a carpenter member of union 405 and we have a sticker on our hardhat that says "from the folks that brought you the weekend" and that is my favorite sticker that I have.
