As an apprentice electrician, old buildings can be a huge pain to work on. This building was built before AC, efficient heat, wifi, security cameras, and now people want all that in old buildings (obviously). But it doesn't fit anywhere! So this guy probably had to squeeze into some hot, dusty crawl space to upgrade/fix something and he slipped. I'm glad he wasn't severely injured. The ceiling can be fixed.
