My neighborhood had it's annual garage sale today and I was able to get this for $60!! It's not the fanciest model, but I think it will do for an amateur baker.
Looks like a newer one, not a problem, but be aware to keep the motor from destroying itself they have been built with a gear that Will Fail if you over load it. it is designed that way, the replacement part is only about $2 or so. I keep an extra one in the house just in case
Edit to add, buy a broken mixer for $40 and spend $2.89 to fix it.
I repacked the grease in one of these a month ago. Pretty straight forward job. If you hear some grinding noise, you may need to do that. It took a couple hours.
