Have the Democrats actually even blocked anything yet?
I mean, the GOP changed the rules a couple of times specifically so the Democrats couldn't block legislation and they are still not getting anything passed.
It's not just Trump. Remember when McConnell blamed Obama for a bill that Congress passed, he vetoed, and McConnell led the fight to override the veto. Yet when faced with the consequences of the bill, McConnell said it was Obama's fault for not fully explaining the bill to him.
The modern GOP is perfectly happy to deny reality and blame Democrats for anything, because their base gets news from uncritical sources which parrot the claim.
