That would work out. Some jobs are better for tall people and some for shorter. When I was in the USAF, we had a 6'4" aircraft mechanic who had a 5' even trainee. They made a good team.

I'm 6'5" and never stand under a lift. I just lower it, grab a stool and roll around under the vehicle. Much easier on my neck and back.
