The photo was taken by Doug Mills, a colleague of mine at The New York Times. Just wrote to him to see if he’ll describe how he managed to capture it.
It is fucking surreal to see this photo shared around while the testimony is STILL GOING.
I genuinely was like "is this a previous testimony?" But looked behind him and there's that dude with the red tie, round button on lapel, with an empty seat next to him.
