Reminds me of some photos I saw from when Pixar was designing the look and feel of A Bug's Life.
They took these micro cameras that a dentist might use to look at your back molars, and they did a lot of looking around underneath the "canopy" of blades of grass. Interesting photos, and you can almost get a feel of what the world is to bugs.
