He was one of my heroes. Always loved watching him. He was the reason why I'm so interested and fascinated by reptiles. Specially snakes. He was the best in his field. And even now I dont think anyone's anywhere near him. RIP
I happened to see this interview on TV last month, and was so touched by Terri's outlook on her life since Steve:
"I really don't think I would have married if I hadn't met Steve. And he's very special to me and continues to be. And I've got beautiful kids and a lot of wonderful conservation work. So I'm lonely for Steve, but I'm not a lonely person."

Man, I'm still bummed about his passing. He seemed like such a genuinely nice dude who really loved sharing what he knew with other people.
