Every MadCatz controller I ever used was like 80% there. They needed that extra 20% to make them good. I always thought they had a cool design, and some neat features, but they always had a problem.
I'll never forget my Mad Catz gamecube controller, after a month of use it began shocking me every 10-15 minutes and made my Twilight Princess playthrough a uniquely painful experience. The controller that came with the console had busted and I was very poor at the time if you wondering if I was just some sadist who enjoyed the pain.
