I'm a recruiter - this would work if the company doesn't have a solid vetting system.
If you called my work and used this we'd look you up and see that you aren't there. All you'd have to say is this:
"Oh I applied through Indeed - I can just email you a copy of my resume, what's your email?"
We wouldn't ask questions and would definitely look over your resume. Maybe this helps! ¯_(ツ)_/¯
