Cemeteries are supposed to do this (Its part of how they justify crazy costs) but sadly they don't without complaints.

So I do this every couple of years for for the graves of just the veterans in my moms and dads family (there's a lot). To do just ONE foot marker properly takes about 30 minutes. The edging can be a bitch then I have to try to scrub the stone clean without creating a crap ton of mud in the process. This is actually pretty tedious work. This man should be commended for what he is doing.

This is going to be buried (pun), but I have to chime in. I work full time taking care if of a cemetery for my city. A lot of of people are saying the cemetery should take care of this...believe me..we try. The cemetery I work at has about 40,000 people buried at it. If anyone asks we will happily trim a flat marker, like seen here, for them. However we have a staff of 4 full time people to mow all of the cemetery, trim all of the tombstones, and dig all the graves. I live in a smallish rural town. If you guys would like to pay taxes to support the staff of about 20 full time employees for a small town to keep up with all this then fine...until then if you want every tombstone and flat marker to look pristine..we're going to need your help.
