This is a really beautiful idea, but all I can think is how satisfying it would be to get in there with a powerwasher once he's done...

Cemeteries are supposed to do this (Its part of how they justify crazy costs) but sadly they don't without complaints.

So I do this every couple of years for for the graves of just the veterans in my moms and dads family (there's a lot). To do just ONE foot marker properly takes about 30 minutes. The edging can be a bitch then I have to try to scrub the stone clean without creating a crap ton of mud in the process. This is actually pretty tedious work. This man should be commended for what he is doing.
