Ohio was scraped and flattened in the top half of the state by glaciers from the last ice age. It resulted in some pretty, and unusual landscapes. It's also why the top and bottom halves of the state are so different, topographically.
If I remember correctly, the melt from those glaciers helped form the Great Lakes.

Ohio has some hidden gems, Hocking Hills is definitely one of them. Hidden as in the rest of the US thinks Ohio just has cornfields and LeBron James
