This reminds me of an uncle if mine who used to have chickens. One evening he put them all back in the pen like he would do everyday​, without realizing he also locked an unwanted guest inside. The next morning he went and opened the pen and something fast ran out, an adult fox that during the night proceeded to slaughter all the chickens. All of them.
