I've ran a watered down version of D&D for years, explaining to my daughters that they could be like Elsa from Frozen and Merida from Brave, fighting bad guys and using dice to determine if their arrows and magic ice attacks hit. We've played for years and both love playing the "dice game"
...really starting to think I should run a light game for my kid. Think it'd go over well - how far do you have to water things down, in your experience?
