How is it that the same people who hate bible thumping cowboy republicans bend ass backwards to defend even more extreme religion? This world makes no sense. You'd think islam would be the target number one among social justice warriors and antifas, but no.
They see nazis and crypto-fascists around every corner, but bloating crime rates in europe are apparently not a problem.
You know what pisses me off? In 1979 these Iranian feminists were winning this fight. The middle east was becoming much more liberal in general. Then we started funding terrorists, organizing 'regime changes' and just generally destabilizing and fucking up the entire region until most of them regressed back into medieval thinking. The same postmodernists who say that US imperialism is the source of all the world's ills are in full support of the oppressive religious zealots that US imperialism installed in the mid east. It's mind boggling, because they should actually be totally on the right side of this one but somehow they still fuck it up.
