Exactly! And that's why me and my family only use heroin.

I work at a methadone and detox clinic, it's some bad shit out there. There's alot a factor not often discussed called location tolerance, meaning your body can prime itself for heroin/drug use based on familiar locations. Some people OD when theyre usual spot and ritual gets impacted in some way.

Not to mention how quickly tolerance can go down- and up- with only a few days use/absence

People are dying in mass numbers in British Columbia (Canada) from fentanyl being added to drugs here. They've been trying to get the government to declare it a public health emergency. I don't live in a large city but someone dies from fentanyl weekly or biweekly. This week it was an 18 year old student doing coke.

There are some theories that are saying its gotten so bad and the response so loud, that more ODs are happening because drug users are aware of the increased presence of help.

Our biggest city (Vancouver) reported 169 overdose response calls for the week of April 17 to 23, an increase of 29 per cent over the week before. There were eight overdose deaths in the city that week, moving the 2017 total to 126 deaths from overdose.

Shit is crazy.
