I'm finding it really hard to judge the scale in this photo. Those rocks could be tiny, or absolutely massive.

OP, can you please tell us how?

Does this require a long time of practice, given that you mention you did this in only 15 minutes? Are all stones fit to balance in some way, or is their skill to picking the right ones?
