That's a really cool bottle. You could maybe even keep some glycerin in there, and at times rub it into your hands to keep your skin from cracking. You know, might be a decent use for it...

I had a bunch of these type of bottles as a kid, same size as your picture. some uncle or grandparent gave them to me.
...are you telling me they were opium bottles?
edit: after a bit of googling, yep, they were opium bottles
mine even had the little "spoon" attached to the cap and everything. they were snuff boxes... and I was pretending they were barbie vases
