I found this sub via the Random function and omg this dog just looks so damn cute! There's something about older dogs with the grey muzzle. What a blessing she is.
I remember the first time I took my black lab to the beach. She was pretty old at that point too, and living in Minnesota, it would be tough to get her to the ocean at all if we didn't do it then. We drove all the way to Maine, instead of flying, so that we could bring her. She ended up being too scared to go down the stairs to the beach, so I had to carry all 110 pounds of her down (and up) something like 35 stairs. It was so worth it to see the twinkle in her eye, though.
