Found a Camera in a Thrift Store that belonged to a Soldier in WW1. Has undeveloped Verichrome Film in the back. Getting it examined and possibly developed on Saturday. May contain WW1 Pictures!
Here is some more information about the camera and who owned it. On the leather case were engravings that said
11/2309 R. Curtis 6th W.M.R N.Z.M.R
So I searched the name online and it turns out that this camera belonged to Rupert Curtis who was a soldier in the New Zealand Army. More specifically, the Wellington Mounted Rifles Regiment. Rupert, along with his regiment, were deployed to Palestine in 1917 as part of the Palestine campaign. According to this source, Rupert, got wounded on 7/11/1917. However, he survived the war.
The film is Verichrome which was produced in 1907-1908. Will confirm next week!
Rupert was 20 years of age when he enlisted. Height: 5 feet 8 inches. (Same height as I am) He was born April 1895 (Weird I was born in April too) Complexion: Dark, Eyes: Brown, Hair: Brown (Just like me)

Hey guys I found more info about the Soldier.
He lived in a suburb called Petone, and was a labourer by profession.
He also got awarded a Certificate in Proficiency at Petone West School in 1911
